6:30 pm Solemn Mass with Imposition of Ashes
On this day we begin the holy season of Lent by confessing our sins and contemplating our mortality.

This day honors Joseph, spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and foster father of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Annunciation of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the Blessed Virgin Mary

6:30 pm Solemn Mass
On this day, nine months before Christmas Day, we remember the visit of the Angel Gabriel to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Conception of Jesus in her womb for the salvation of the world.
"Anticipated" refers to a feast being observed the day before its customary date.
"Transferred" refers to a feast being observed one or more days after its customary date.
